Meet the great team of talented Stylists at Barberella

Shelley Ring

A born and bred Torontonian , Shelley started her apprenticeship as a teen and has worked through the ranks of both high end luxury salons and street style shops. Shelley brought her creative vision and love of makeup to the world of film and music videos before opening Barberella Salon in 2005. Always a beauty junkie, Shelley remains as curious as ever staying on the hunt for the new while maintaining  the highest level of service to her devoted following.

Karolyn Thomson

Karolyn is originally from Belleville, Ontario. She graduated from the Hairstylist Apprenticeship Program at St. Lawrence College, Kingston in 2008. Karolyn has been with barberella for over 9 years.
She enjoys creating natural looks with colour, corrective colour, cutting long hair and finishing it off with a nice blowout.
When she isn’t working, Karolyn likes to spend time with family, friends and her cat Finn

Toni Warren

Toni originally hails from Nova Scotia and joined the Barberella team over a year ago. With sixteen years in the hair industry Toni enjoys creating texture in hair and working with natural curl. Her skills in colouring including balayage, colour melting, and colour corrections have earned her a loyal following. In her free time Toni loves a good bit of thrift shopping, and will always be up for a concert with friends.

Taylor Young

Taylor has been in the hair industry for four years. Drawing on a wide range of aesthetic influences from fashion,art and music she will give you a style that will help you express your individual look. Some of her favourite things to include braids, blondes, and classic bobs!
